»Der Vogeltanz« is dedicated to the victims of all wars and a tribute to nature´s great powers of rejuvenation, symbolically represented by the dance of the birds. The piece was composed during the Bosnian war and was premiered on 6 August 1995 (The 50th Memorial Day of Hiroshima).
